I did want to let everyone know about the Parkinson's Action Network Forum, an annual event that takes place in Washington DC and also via webcast for those people who cannot, or choose not to, make the trip to DC. It's a 3 day conference with the final day spent on Capitol Hill visiting congressional representatives, telling your story while asking for support for legislation that affects Parkinson's Disease. All appointments are arranged by PAN in advance. It's a wonderful opportunity and learning experience, and lots of fun.
